Membership Fees

Membership Fee:

The cost of the entire 2-week training is only $595. This is thousands of dollars less than comparable "career placement services." We are able to charge such a low training course fee, compared to the commercial organizations offering similar services, because 40Plus is an all-volunteer organization.

Membership Classifications:

Active Members

Active members must have met all membership requirements; paid all membership fees and dues; and, have either successfully completed or currently be enrolled in the 40Plus training program. To maintain Active Member status, members are required to:

1. Attend the weekly 40Plus General Membership Meeting every Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.
2. Perform eight (8) hours of work each week for a 40Plus committee or special project.

Alumni Members

While we all hope that the job we get through 40Plus is "the perfect job," today's employment patterns make it unlikely that it will be the job from which you retire. Alumni Members are former Active Members who have successfully transitioned into a new career and have requested a change to this special status.

To become a Alumni Member, Active Members should submit a Status Change Form to the Membership Department. All charges and balances due in the member’s account must be paid before the change will be processed. Alumni Membership “dues” are a one-time fee.

Alumni Members may return to Active Member status at any time by submitting a Status Change Form to the Membership Department and commencing payment of monthly Active membership dues.

Alumni Membership provides a lifetime of benefit. Alumni Members can take the Training Course as many times as they want to without having to pay for the course again.
