ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Cherryl Neill Humphreys is the designer of the groundbreaking approach that she followed to find her ‘perfect work’ as one of the first Success Coaches in 1992, three years before life coaching was even a profession.  (Now, there are 45k+ worldwide!)  Helping thousands find their perfect work, in a variety of professional and educational settings, her pioneering work has been featured in The Washington Post, Black Enterprise, Essence, on WPFW and on “Moneywise” on PBS.  Cherryl also created a blueprint for “Finding Your Perfect Partner” and is currently developing one on “Creating Your Perfect Life.”

After getting her BA in mathematics education from GWU and a short stint teaching math in DCPS, she enjoyed a 19-year career as a mathematician and systems analyst with the federal government.  A 5th generation native Washingtonian, Cherryl also holds certifications as a professional image consultant and in life purpose facilitation.  She served as a docent for 12 years at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art and a volunteer at the Anacostia Community Museum, most recently as a board member.
