Edward Reed

Mr. Edward Reed, CEO of Contemporary Coaching & Counseling.

Understanding the physical and mental health risk linked to good health and wellness, as well as the current push from employers to reduce health insurance cost and employee sick days, Mr. Edward Reed formed Contemporary Coaching & Counseling Associates, LLC with a division focused on providing services that will empower people to improve their quality of life and increase their value to employers.

After years of failed diets and weight loss plans, the Contemporary Coaching & Counseling Associates, LLC CEO hit his highest weight of 298 lbs in December 2008.  As a husband, father, active church member and professional in a key leadership role, his ability to stay healthy impacted several people.  He asked himself, "If I died today from a heart attack, who would be impacted?"  He realized that it was not all about him, but those who trust and counted on him.  He could no longer afford the health risk linked with obesity. Combining his professional experience in business and counseling with his commitment to his family and research on weight loss, Ed successfully developed and implemented a personal improvement plan that improved his health and quality of life.

In September 2009 Ed’s lowest weight was 198 lbs.  He had lost 100 lbs!  Since that time he has maintained a healthy weight range of 208 - 215lbs.  Now, he even runs 5K and half marathons.

Contemporary Coaching & Counseling Associates, LLC provides the following services through it’s Weight Management division:

• Individualized Weight Loss Plans
• Saturday Classes
• Children & Adolescents Wellness Programs
• Individual & Team Coaching - weekly, bi-weekly, monthly & quarterly
• Corporate Wellness Programs include -onsite seminars & classes
