Monday Morning Speaker Presentation:
What the heck do we PAY this person?

With Mike Strand

What you will learn at the session:

Mike Strand presents an “inside-the-employer’s” view of the alternative approaches employers take in deciding what to offer and pay prospective hires. Mike will go through the basics of compensation systems, pay ranges, hiring ranges, averages, and what it all means to you as an applicant considering a hire offer.
A number of “intangibles” (who makes the hire offer; what criteria they may use; how the offer is “staged,” and what is really important to you) will be examined in helping you to understand who might have the power to influence pay.
Mike explains how you can obtain prevalent salary data on specific positions and he offers some techniques on negotiating your salary offer.
