“Self –Marketing Job Techniques: From Story to Strategy”

Losing a job can create a mix of emotions: anger, fear, guilt, vulnerability, sadness, embarrassment, loneliness, shame. We can’t deny these feelings nor should we. We also do not want them to become permanent inhabitants of our inner being. When that happens, we become paralyzed, unable to take the actions necessary to get what we want and deserve.

This presentation will help you work through unresolved emotions about losing a job and then move on to identify top resume writing, interviewing, and networking strategies.

Linda Cassell, certified executive coach, recruiter, workshop facilitator, and speaker, helps entrepreneurs and executives create their ideal work situations. Her clients learn customized techniques that help them make quantum leap changes in their thinking, habits, and focus. As a result, they create “inspired action plans” which often lead to new career opportunities that previously seemed unattainable.

Many of Linda’s clients are professionals who have been downsized or are facing an impending job loss. These individuals receive comprehensive training in the latest social media, resume writing, interviewing strategies, and net working techniques.

As an entrepreneur and the product of a family business, Linda understands the environment and culture in which executives operate. Most importantly, she is results oriented and has the experience and skills to facilitate positive change.

Linda’s coaching philosophy is grounded in the co-active coaching model: the coach and client are equals. She holds her clients to be naturally creative, resourceful, and whole, perfectly capable of accomplishing their greatest goals.

Linda's work is influenced by many of today’s leading experts in the field of coaching, business, and spirituality, including Seth Godin, Jim Collins, Marcus Buckingham, Marshall Goldsmith, Eva Gregory, Jack Canfield, Forbes Robbins Blair, Marc Allen, Deepak Chopra, Joe Vitale, James Arthur Ray, Bill Harris, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Joseph Murphy, and Oprah Winfrey.

Prior to her work as an executive coach, Linda spent more than twenty years leading non-profit organizations.

In addition to her work as an executive coach and recruiter, Linda is president of Managing Partners II, LLC, a Delaware based company that provides coaching, development, and recruitment services to non-profit organizations.

Linda is a member of the International Coach Federation and holds Bachelor and Masters Degrees in education from Kent State University in Ohio. She received her certification from the Coaches Training Institute, one of the world’s premier coaching schools.
