Jack says technology is how we do things – not the things we do them with...they are the tools. He develops new technology (the how) to get spectacular results using the latest tools (the things). He blogs a couple of times per week about the New Normal and evolutionary changes in business.

Jack blogs a couple of times per week on topics such as evolutionary change in business, technology, and becoming a better leader.  He routinely posts to Sales Labs Posts, Open Source Leadership, and is a contributor to Through the Browser  and numerous discussion groups.

Jack founded the Leadership Breakfast of Maryland meeting monthly since 2008; led a $22 M organization as President & CEO; had senior executive roles in entertainment, health care, and human resources consulting firms; and has hands-on experience in operations, human resources, finance, client development, and marketing/sales.

Gates is with Sales Lab Incorporated  as its COO and is active in groups such as DC Tech for start-ups, the Google technical user and developer group, and the Capital Technology Management Hub which is associated with the graduate school of management at

George Mason University. He earned a BS from the Smith School of the University of Maryland, College Park and an MBA (Finance) from Southeastern University in Washington, DC.

  1. Leave the Dupont Circle Metro Station by the 19th Street SOUTH exit.
  2. At the top of the escalator (street level), turn 180 degrees, and walk a short distance towards Dupont Circle.
  3. Turn right and walk counter-clockwise around the outside of the Circle, past Connecticut and Massachusetts Avenues.
  4. At P Street, turn right . Proceed on P Street past 18th Street.
