Monday Morning Speaker:  Sandra Merrigan,
Organizing Matters, LLC

Crafting the Space That's Most Important To You--Your Office Your Vision!

Speaker Website:

By December 2008, 40Plus had developed a long-term clutter problem, with parts of the offices, particularly our Library/Resources Center, rendered unavailable to members.

Sandra Merrigan and the National Association of Professional Organizers,, along with 40Plus volunteers, repainted, reorganized, installed new furniture, refreshed and restored our offices.

This NAPO/40Plus "makeover" was highly successful and re-energized 40Plus for the New Year.

Today the Library is open and accessible, and Sandra returns for a one-year check-up, to see if 40Plus maintains, refreshed and uncluttered.

Sandra's prescription:

Does your office look like the tornado hit it?

Are you frustrated because you can’t seem to accomplish what you want?

Does it take you more than 4 minutes to find that piece of paper?

Is your life in transition and you don’t feel grounded?

Organizing does matter when it comes to planning for your future. This workshop will offer strategies for getting you and your office de-cluttered, organized, and focused.

Sandra Merrigan MS started Organizing Matters, LLC in 2007 after a 30 year career in Special Education Administration. She has worked in the public and private sector, taught at Johns Hopkins University, and been a principal of a school for students with Autism.

Three years ago she made the transition into Professional Organizing, something it turns out she has been doing for many years.

Plan to join us after the meeting for networking.  Many of us carry our conversations to lunch at the nearby Brookings Institution.

Attire is business casual, recruiters are often present, so we ask all Monday Speaker attendees to contribute to the professional standards and objectives of this important networking meeting.

Doors open at 9:00 for networking and the program starts promptly at 10:00.
