Monday Morning Speaker:

Turning Endings into Beginnings with  Susan Wranik

Giving voice to your voice

Speaker Website:

Susan Wranik, a much sought after motivational speaker, coach and energizer returns to 40+ to talk about attitude and health for people in transition (what can happen, why, how you know, and what you can do about it), marketing and conversational skills for those 40+ (how to deal with someone 20 something in HR) , and the importance of pacing with easy to use techniques for turning endings into beginnings…
Bring your questions, queries, nightmares, and any other obstacles you’ve encountered in the job search process for a “share and solve” Q and A!

Susan, a Milwaukee native, is a speaker, writer, and medical professional passionate about giving voice to other people’s voices. She focuses on helping men and women become stronger speakers and better communicators.

She has over 30 years experience in the communication field, first as an interpreter and translator and then clinically, helping stroke and TBI patients learn to speak again and those with dementia how to structure and retain their thoughts so they, too, can regain their voices.

Susan earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Italian and Linguistics at Georgetown University, and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at The George Washington University.  She has done independent post-graduate work at The Middle East Institute, Harvard University, The Johns Hopkins University, and in Europe.

She has written numerous articles on communication, is a frequent guest on radio and television, and is now poised to launch LITTLE ORANGE BOOK self-help series.

Together with her business partner, Detta Voesar, they form Susan I. Wranik Associates. L.L.C., blending linguistic, cultural, and medical expertise to provide comprehensive communication skills enhancement.

Plan to join us after the meeting for networking.  Many of us carry our conversations to lunch at the nearby Brookings Institution.

Attire is business casual, recruiters are often present, so we ask all Monday Speaker attendees to contribute to the professional standards and objectives of this important networking meeting.

Doors open at 9:15 for networking and the program starts promptly at 10:00.
